KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
(1) Prepare first drafts of response to inquiries by practitioners and the public for action by the Senior Administrative Officer.
(2) In consultation with the Senior Administrative Officer, responsible for the daily accounting for registration and licensing fees received and regular payments into Council’s Bank Accounts following appropriate procedures and processes for sound financial control in line with the Council’s Financial Manual.
(3) Prepare payment requests and vouchers for review by the Senior Administrative Officer.
(4) Prepare and produce monthly reports on the financial status of Council.
(5) Prepare procurement documents for review by the Senior Administrative Officer.
(6) Provide logistical, administrative and financial support to Council.
(7) Develop an annual workplan for the approval of the Deputy Registrar through the Senior Administrative Officer.
(8) Communicate Council’s decisions effectively and diplomatically to practitioners, applicants and Secretariat staff.
(9) Monitor and supervise the repairs and maintenance of all office equipment.
(10) Carry out any other duties as may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
(1) AAT Foundation Certificate.
(2) Five years’ finance-related proven practical work experience.
(3) Proficiency in use of spreadsheets, word processing and computerized accounting systems.
(4) Strong written and oral communications skills.
